Piazza Fontana

Fountain Square is a central square in the center of Milan there is an artistic red granite fountain of Carrara marble by Giuseppe Piermarini and Giuseppe Franchi. It is located off the Piazza del Duomo and Piazza Beccaria, on it overlooks the archbishopric building of the Ambrosian diocese. One side of the square is occupied by the building in which it is established the National Bank, where, December 12, 1969, was perpetrated the massacre of Piazza Fontana
