The Viking Ship Museum

The Viking Ship Museum (Norwegian: Vikingskipshuset literally Viking Ship House) is located at Bygdøy near Oslo, Norway. It is part of the Museum of Cultural History, University of Oslo, and owes its fame to the three big ships that houses inside, from the Viking age: the Oseberg, the Gokstad and Tune; in addition, they are preserved in the museum numerous artifacts from the cemetery Borre and other Viking archaeological sites.
